Two separate Cash-in-Transit (CIT) robberies have been reported this morning — one in KwaZulu-Natal and another in Gauteng. In KwaZulu-Natal, heavily armed suspects ambushed a CIT vehicle on the N2 near Durban, opening fire during the attack.

Reports indicate that two security guards were shot, with one believed to be in critical condition.
