Swift action by SAPS Fraserburg during early morning visible policing led to the arrest of a 30-year-old male suspect on 10 January 2026.

The suspect attempted to flee after being reported for assault and alleged drug dealing but was apprehended. Police recovered dagga worth an estimated R8 000 and a small bag of suspected tik at the residence in Asla, Fraserburg.
